David Kaplan: Yeah
Scenario
Misfit cousins reunite for a tour of Poland to honor their beloved grandmother, but their old tensions resurface against the backdrop of their family history. When Benji and David visit their grandmother’s house in Poland, the location is where Jesse Eisenberg’s real-life 39-year-old ancestors settled in the diaspora. Benji Kaplan: We stay moving, we stay light, we stay agile. Benji Kaplan: The conductor’s gonna come, we get tickets, we tell him we’re going to the bathroom. David Kaplan: Bathroom. Benji Kaplan: He gets to the back of the train, starts heading toward the front, looking for stragglers. David Kaplan: Sorry, are we the stragglers?
Benji Kaplan: Yeah
By the time he gets to the front, the train will be in the station and we’re free to go home. David Kaplan: That’s so stupid. Tickets are probably like twelve dollars. Benji Kaplan: That’s the principle of the thing. We shouldn’t have to pay for train tickets in Poland. This is our country. David Kaplan: No, it’s not, it was our country.

They kicked us out because they thought we were cheap… 12 Studies, Op. 25, No. 3 in F major Written by Frederic Chopin Performed by Tzvi Erez. I really liked « A Real Pain. » It’s about two cousins, played by Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin, who travel to Poland and go on a tour that includes a visit to an old concentration camp. So, obviously, the movie gets dark, but it’s also funny and charming. The cousins sit around and smoke weed together.
I thought the movie was realistic
Sometimes their relationship isn’t pleasant, but you can tell they love each other. Eisenberg also wrote and directed the movie and did an amazing job. The story, acting, cinematography, editing, and more are all great. There are a lot of great shots. The concentration camp scene is moving and respectful. I felt sad at times during the movie. I think I cared a lot about the summers.
I just love this movie
There are no scenes that drag on too long. "A True Grit" is definitely one of my favorite movies of the year. Obviously, I highly recommend you watch it. From Alien: Romulus to Road House, take a look back at some of our favorite posters from 2024.
